Runner's guide
Open to all runners at least 18 years old on race day, healthy and able to complete the entire distance on their own. By registering, you accept the Terms of Responsibility of the EDP Lisbon Marathon. The race entries are personal and non-transferable.
Visually impaired participants may take part with a guide, and participants with reduced mobility who use a wheelchair may also take part, subject to the conditions in the Race Regulations. Registration in these cases is made through inscricoes.pdvmc@maratonaportugal.com.

During the race
The official marathon distance is 42.195 km.
It starts in Carcavelos and finishes at Praça do Comércio in Lisbon's historic city centre, running mainly alongside the Atlantic Ocean and the Tagus River through the municipalities of Cascais, Oeiras and Lisbon.
The updated course map will be available on the official race website and in the Runner's Guide.
Yes. Official aid stations are located at intervals of approximately 5 km, with additional stations potentially provided at clearly marked locations. Exact locations and products will be published in the Runner's Guide.
Yes. Participants may carry their own nutrition and hydration products during the race.
After the race
The EDP Lisbon Marathon finishes at Praça do Comércio, in Lisbon's historic city centre, next to the Tagus River.
All finishers receive an official finisher medal and have access to the refreshments provided by the organization in the finish area.
Bags dropped off at the start are transported to the finish area. The exact collection point is indicated in the Runner's Guide.
Access to the restricted area immediately after the finish line is limited to participants. Designated meeting points are available where you can meet family and friends after leaving the restricted area.
Information about the medal engraving service and the applicable conditions will be communicated to participants before the race.
